“Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:51 b
All teachers are trained and background-checked for added security.
Our trained staff and volunteers provide loving care and solid biblical teaching for children from birth through 5th grade. This team is dedicated and committed to the spiritual and emotional development of each child. Our vision is to offer a nurturing and safe environment which encourages children to make a commitment to Jesus Christ and then helps them as they grow and are transformed by God’s Word and His power into lifelong disciples of Christ.
Infant through 2 years old:
We provide for basic needs creating a sense of love and security fostering a level of trust in the church environment.
2 Years through Kindergarten:
Instruction of Bible stories with reinforcement activities of biblical principles taught by mature and caring leaders further creating trust in the heart of a child. As a child feels love and secure, he or she is able to associate the love of the church with the love of Christ.
1st Grade through 5th Grade:
We provide further instruction of biblical principles through Bible stories with reinforcement of games and activities. These are taught and modeled by mature and caring leaders providing opportunities to make a decision for Christ. We provide Sunday school classes, Children’s Church and Choir.
Nursery and Sunday School Times
Nursery: available for infants, crawlers, and toddlers during both Sunday morning worship services.
Preschool: (for 2-year-olds through kindergarten) available during both Sunday morning worship services. We teach a Bible lesson weekly which reinforce biblical concepts through age-appropriate methods.
Elementary: (1st through 5th grades) has lessons that are biblically-based and age-specific to the needs of each individual child. Classes are offered during both worship services, except Children’s Church, which is offered at 9:00 a.m. for 2nd through 5th grades.
What to expect when dropping off:
As you enter the children's ministries wing (left side of the foyer), you will see a booth where you can sign your child into our automated check-in system.
The very first time you come, you'll fill in your family name, address, and phone number. After that, we will keep your information on file.
Once we pull up your child's information at the booth, we'll print out a sticker for your child (with their name and ID number), and an ID slip for you to keep as you go to service and/or an ABF class.
When you take your child to his/her assigned class (including the nursery room), you will check your child in on a clipboard. When you come back at the end of the service, you will present your ID slip (which matches the ID number on your child's sticker), sign your child out on the clipboard, and pick up your child.
Every child in Elementary grades can be a part of Children’s Choir. The Choir sings several times a year in front of the congregation and rehearsals are generally held for the first ten minutes of the Sunday School Class.
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15)
Our goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him. Children learn the joy of knowing Christ and living their lives to glorify Him through age-appropriate activities, game time, and emphasis on Bible memory.
AWANA is for 3-year-olds (potty-trained) through high school. We offer Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, T&T, Trek, and Journey Clubs as well.
