Dear Fellowship Family,
I want to begin by giving thanks for each of you. We are better together, and you are amazing! You are faithful to the Lord and to others in your service! You are generous to the needs of others. You are interceding for each other. Thank you so much for being an integral part of our forever family! I love being your pastor!
Just this morning, I was praying to God:
“Father, please help us to demonstrate love not only with our words, but also with the deeds we perform in loving You and those around us.”
NIV 1 John 3:18
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech
but with actions and in truth.
Tomorrow we host a celebration of the life of Rich Welch at 10:00 AM at church. A short luncheon will follow. Please pray comfort for the family. We will all miss Rich but are confident we will see him again. For him faith in Jesus is now sight face to face.
Tomorrow night from 6:30-8:00, we embark on a 13-week study in the letter of James. I will lead this study and it is open to everyone to attend. If you need babysitting, please call Olene to register your children at 303-928-7111. We will be distributing study guides for James at the meeting. Each book costs $5.00. Couples can share the guides.
This Sunday, March 10, we will conclude our studies in the prophet Micah. His final words are some of the most profound in the book. We will celebrate the forgiveness that the Lord offers to us. I look forward to worship with you this week.
NIV Micah 7:18-19
Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
