DESCRIPTION:Our Partnership Summit and Annual Business meeting are right around the corner on Sun. Nov. 12! \nIn preparation for the celebration\, and for our 2024 ministry year\, Annual Reports will be available by Oct. 22nd. As you read through the reports\, look at the proposed budget\, and consider the items up for vote\, you may have questions. We will hold Town Hall meetings on Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 at 12pm in Room 2/3 to discuss those items and help answer those questions. Please consider attending one of the Town Halls. SUMMARY:Conversations with Jesus
DESCRIPTION:Imagine a couple where the only style of communication is “Dear\, can you do that? Can you bring me this? Can you help me with this?” Or a parent-child relationship where the only conversation is “Dad/Mom\, can I have that toy? Can I have this cookie?” Although this is an important part of any relationship\, this is never the only way we interact. \nBut\, many-a-times\, our thoughts about prayer invoke just that style of conversation with Jesus. \nWe invite you to be part of “Conversations with Jesus” as we explore\, learn and grow in our prayer life and in understanding the many facets of praying that will enrich our walk with Jesus both individually and in a corporate gathering. \nThis month’s focus is going to be on “Conversations with a Child like Faith” with emphasis on God to be glorified in our Fall Festival outreach. Please join us on October 29th at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary to pray.
