Men's Ministry

Building one another up & being sent out to work and keep.

The Men's Ministries at Fellowship is two-fold in purpose. First, allowing men to build one another up as the body of Christ through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Secondly, to be sent out as Christ's hands and feet to the world He loves.

Building Up

First, we realize the importance for men to be connected with other men in their lives.
Solomon states in Proverbs 27:17,"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." So, we like to spend time with one another. We believe the simple act of being together helps build a strong foundation. We do a lot of different things together such as . . .
  • eating together at our monthly Men's Breakfast
  • hiking, camping, or mountain biking
  • meeting together at a Men's Bible Study
  • going on our Fall Men's Retreat
  • sharing our lives and challenges over coffee
Developing relationships that stand the test of time is key to our mission of growing men into sold-out followers of Christ.
The second Saturday of every month we have a Men's Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. at the church. We always have great food, guest speakers to challenge you in your faith, and a meaningful time to just hang out with the guys of FCC!

Sent Out

Secondly, we understand that as leaders in our families and the church, we are called to serve as Christ serves. In Mark 10:45, Jesus states that "even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve others, and to give his life as a ransom for many."  The apostle Paul invites us to "Imitate God, therefore, in everything [we] do, because [we] are his dear children" (Ephesians 5:1 NLT). At FCC, we as men seek to replicate the heart of our Father. When we do this, we are witnesses that He is powerful to transform and renew our lives, our families, our community, and our world.
