WHY DO WE GIVE AN OFFERING?
As Christians, we recognize that God is the author of all things, the Creator of all things, and the owner of all things (Ps. 24:1). Anything we have, we have because God has entrusted it to us as stewards. The owner of everything, God, wants us to manage all He gives us (time, talent, and treasure) in a way that will honor and glorify Him. One of the ways we do that is by offering our first and our best (our “tithe”) to God to further Kingdom work. And so, we give to the church so that families can be cared for, mission work can be supported, and the gospel can go forth in our community.
But we also give as an act of worship. When we cheerfully and sacrificially give, we express our dependence upon God to provide and our desire for his Kingdom to come. We consecrate ourselves, our livelihoods, to the Lord so that we might think as He thinks, know what He knows, and live as He tells us to live.

MISSIONS MOMENT | Vlad & Ines Panainte
Please join us in the important work of praying for our FCC missionaries. These next two weeks we want to focus on Vlad & Ines Panainte in Madrid, Spain planting international churches with International Christian Community (ICC). Here are ways you can be praying:
- Pray for a new location for the church. Pray for a large rental space.
- Pray for the process of getting registered as a religious entity in Spain as we currently run the church through an NGO.
- Pray for unity in our leadership team.
- Pray for preparing the Spring Retreat (tentatively set for June 5-7th).
- Pray for the Lord to speak to our Church through our current Sermon Series from Ezra and Nehemiah called, “Building a Resilient Church.”
Thank you for praying for our missionaries!
We have texting now!

Alternatives Baby Bottle Banks
At FCC, we believe humans are created in God’s image and, therefore, every stage of life is precious and valuable. We are partnering with Alternatives Pregnancy Center to help Denver-area women experiencing unintended or challenging pregnancies. Pick up an Alternatives Baby Bottle Bank in the Lobby; fill it with spare change, cash, or a check; and pray as a family for the teens, women, men, and preborn children served daily at Alternatives. Return the bank to the Connection Center by Feb. 8. Alternatively, you can CLICK HERE to donate. For more info, contact Kellee (303-522-8154).
2025 Giving Reports
Giving Reports will be ready by the end of January and will be emailed to the email address registered with Church Center. If no email address is available, reports will be printed and available in the office. You can also access your giving statement via the Church Center app. Tap the circle in the top right corner (Profile), scroll down to “My Giving”, then “Statements.” For issues or questions, please contact dcarter@fcchurch.org.
Special Business Meeting | Sun., Mar. 8, 12p | Sanctuary
In November, the Elders presented revisions to our By-laws. Small edits were then made, due to congregational feedback. On Mar. 8, we will meet as a church for a final decision on the revisions. Town Halls will be on Feb. 15 & Mar. 1 for discussion & Q&A. Copies of the By-laws are online at fcchurch.org/specialbusinessmeeting. Contact David (dcarter@fcchurch.org / 303-928-7102).
