Christian's Story
Christian is a graduate of The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) and has been the volunteer Site Leader at Fellowship Community Church in Centennial for over 4 years. In November 2022, the TUMI Denver team – Mike Dickie, Chaplain Kris Briggs, and Christian – embarked on a new journey with the TUMI ministry. After much prayer, discussion, and support from World Impact, they determined that it’s strategic to not only grow TUMI programs in Denver but to also expand throughout Colorado by becoming an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To keep in pace with the great vision God has given them, they broadened the scope of the ministry by creating, The Urban Ministry Institution (TUMI) of Colorado. Recently, he eagerly decided to serve as Director.
Ministry Today
TUMI of Colorado is a nonprofit; Colorado based, non-denominational, Christ-centered educational institution. TUMI offers a church-based seminary curriculum that focuses on equipping students for ministry leadership, urban and international missions, church planting, and trauma healing. They are committed to excellence in biblical, theological, and pastoral education where students may pursue a Certificate in Christian Leadership. As Director, Christian oversees the entire ministry which includes work in churches across Colorado as well as in Colorado's prison system.
