The Panainte's Story
Vlad and Inés met in 2016 in Lyon, France. They served in the international church of Lyon (ICCL) for eight years while they had full-time jobs, Vlad in an accounting firm and Inés in the local government of Lyon.
In 2023, they followed God’s calling to work full-time at the church, joining the International Christian Community Organisation (ICC), and they first moved to the South of France, where they served in three international churches: Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, and Monaco. In 2024, they moved, together with their two daughters, to Madrid, Spain, to plant the ICC Madrid church. Inés has also been working for the French channel of BibleProject since 2020, an animation studio that creates explainer videos about the Bible.
Ministry Today
Today, both Vlad and Inés continue to serve in the ICC Madrid church. Their growing congregation of almost 30 people, including children, still meets as a house church and is currently looking to rent a public space to host their Sunday worship services and other ministries during the week.
Vlad is preaching and teaching in the Sunday Worship Services and in the Bible studies, while Inés is involved in communication, events, and women's and children's Bible studies. At the same time, they are both part of the leadership team, together with another family from the US, where they organise the church and implement programs particularly related to discipleship, fellowship and outreach events.
