Elder Vice-Chair

LIFE STORY

I grew up as the youngest child in a loving family in North Louisiana. This journey included my mom playing the piano and organ for as long as I could remember in a small Baptist church. If the doors were open, we were there, and it taught me a lot about grace and hospitality. After high school, I saw the world courtesy of the US Air Force which further fueled my lifelong passion for travel. I came to faith in a small church in Tennessee when a touring music group made a compelling call to come forward. After moving to Colorado for work in 2000 I was bountifully blessed to meet my wonderful English bride, Sarah. In 2002, Sarah introduced me to FCC while playing in the orchestra, which led into the Married and More adult bible fellowship class where we contributed to leadership for many years. WIth two boys and two girls as the cornerstones and privilege of our marriage, we’ve ‘shared life’ with our extended family at FCC. I’ve cherished the opportunity to serve at FCC whether on the stage, teaching classes or through outreach opportunities such as the Fall Festival and Live Nativity events. As an FCC Elder, it’s been my honor to serve in many capacities and I look forward to ongoing service to the Lord and our congregation.

HOPE FOR FELLOWSHIP

It is my prayer that our church strives toward connecting in community and enabling disciples in our midst as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
