LIFE STORY

I was born and raised in the small town of Pitman, New Jersey. I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as a teenager. Although I was a member of our church, I had not personally trusted in the Lord until that night. In a circle of my friends, I prayed to the Lord for forgiveness and received the gift of eternal life. I felt called to serve the Lord as a pastor about a year later. I attended The King’s College in New York and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois.

My wife Betsy and I were married in 1982. We have been blessed with four children: Tim, Phil, Katie and Ben. We have been further blessed with nine grandchildren.

I have served the Lord as a lead pastor in a church since 1983. My first church was in New Hampshire where I served for nine years. Then God called me to New Jersey where I served for twenty years. In 2010 I arrived in Colorado. It is my prayer to continue to serve the Lord as the Lead Pastor here at FCC.

My life verse is found in 2 Corinthians 4:5, “For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.”

HOPE FOR FELLOWSHIP

My prayer for our church is simple. I want us to be a very effective disciple making ministry. We are committed to our mission statement to Invite all generations and all cultures to share life together that all may be transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. I hope that we will equip believers so we can minister for His glory in this community and around the world.
