My daughter has never been baptized, I myself am looking to renew my faith. I was baptized as a child, but was not taken to church on any sort of regular basis. Long story short, ever since God graced me with my daughter i have felt the need to renew my faith and do everything I can to help her instill the foundation in her faith. Her mother and I were never married, as my parents were never married. We are CoParenting as best we can. But my faith and desire to guide Lily to Jesus has always been a source of contention. Until recently i have been just praying with Lily and probably not as often as I should. My father recently passed away, and I have reopened the discussion with her mother at this point her mother has decided to she will no longer keep me from pursuing this with Lily. Lily June is turning 10 in November. She has had no formal training, nor have I. We did attend a small Calvary church regularly until they’re doors closed due to lack of funding. It has been a couple of years, but i feel more strongly now then ever. I need to find a Christ centered spiritual home for my daughter and myself.
